Png file with transparent background, when the “convert to BitMap” dailog box opens up, the “tranparent Background” option is inactive. I am sorry I misread your post. I hope you can forgive me. I do not wish to cause you grief. Re-reading your post I see that I missed your problem completely.
I hope you get a proper answer soon. I am just wondering if Arfath is converting to bitmap first, or if he is directly exporting. I have a feeling in earlier versions it used to confusingly say “Convert to Bitmap” after choosing a file name when exporting. I could be wrong here, but I seem to remember this happening when I was writing an export macro for Jeff H.

Just export it to PNG, tell it it has a transparent background on export and to use “mask” for the transparency even though you don’t define one. Jack’s answer was correct.
